Hand wash in cool water with mild soap, gently press out moisture without wringing, then air dry flat. Wool and felt hold their shape best when never machine washed or tumble dried. With this routine, a hat lasts years.

Keep the hat dry between rounds and use it only inside the sauna. Wool absorbs water heavily, which adds weight and extends drying time. Hang it nearby so it's ready and dry for your next round.
