Dense Volcanic Stone, Built for Better Steam. Each box is sorted A+ grade vulcanite, the dense, igneous rock that stores heat through the session and releases it as full, soft löyly when water meets stone.
Thermal-Shock Resistant. Cheap stones crack, shatter, or pop after a few months of water on hot rock, often because they're unidentified mixed stone or porous sedimentary rock that traps water and bursts under heat. Vulcanite is hard, volcanic in origin, and graded for repeat heating and cooling cycles.
The Right Shape and Size for Real Löyly. Rounded stones averaging 2–3.5", with a slightly porous surface, sized to fit between the elements of modern electric heaters, and shaped so water spreads and runs rather than bouncing off. Fuller löyly with less water per pour.
Buy Once, Use For Years. With typical home use (two to three sessions a week), expect to replace these stones every one to two years. 33 lbs per box, enough to fill most home heaters in a single purchase, measure your current stones weight before purchasing.
Rooted in Finnish sauna tradition. The way sauna has been done for centuries, done properly.
