More Light, Sealed-In Heat

A solid door closes a sauna in. Clear glass opens it up. Portti pairs 8mm tempered glass with a solid alder frame so your room feels bigger and brighter, and a gasketed frame keeps the heat where it belongs.

Will It Fit?

Measure your rough opening first, that's the framed hole in your sauna wall. The complete door unit, frame included, measures 27″ wide by 74⅜″ tall (686 × 1890 mm). Your opening should be slightly larger so the frame can be shimmed square.

  • Overall size, frame included: 27″ × 74⅜″ (686 × 1890 mm)
  • Jamb depth: 3⅝″ (92 mm)
  • Frame face: 1⅝″ (42 mm)
  • No bottom jamb, open at the floor
  • Right-hand hinged, opens to the right

How To Install Portti™

Installer measuring the rough opening for a 27 by 74⅜-inch clear glass sauna door Installer measuring the rough opening for a 27 by 74⅜-inch clear glass sauna door
1. Measure & Prep

Check your rough opening against the door's 27″ × 74⅜″ frame and make sure it's square, plumb, and clean.

The opening should be slightly larger than the frame so you have room to shim.

2. Set Door in Opening

Lift the complete door, frame and glass together, into the opening.

Keep the leaf closed and the catch engaged so nothing swings while you position it.

Rest it on the sill (there's no bottom jamb) and hold or brace it in place.

3. Level, Shim & Fix

Level and plumb the frame, shim behind the hinge side first, then fix the frame to the wall.

Open and close once to confirm the right-hand swing is smooth and the roller catch and gasket meet evenly all around. Adjust shims if the reveal isn't even.
